The company holds an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Civil Aeronautics Board.

With bases in Manila, Subic, Palawan and Cebu, it began operations by providing air transport services for businesses using its new fleet of Cessna Grand Caravans and Bell Helicopters.

In 2014, Air Juan ventured into the tourism market by operating charter flights in Palawan, mainly Puerto Princesa, Busuanga and Cuyo. The success of these routes encouraged the development of a Busuanga-Caticlan sector which links two of the Philippines’ most popular tourist destinations, Coron and Boracay.

In the latter part of the year, the airline beefed up its fleet with two new Cessna Grand Caravan Seaplanes, introducing an exciting new dimension in Philippine travel.

Today, Air Juan is the only commercial Seaplane operator that takes travellers direct to their island destinations from its docks in Manila Bay and Boracay. It continues its vision to be an enabler of new and memorable leisure experiences by providing fast and hassle-free air transportation to some of the Philippines most beautiful and less-charted destinations.
